Martha Rosler: As other women artists, she began in the seventies to propose new courses in the creation of the work from the feminist perspective. Along thirty years she has used diverse languages and expressive ways from the picture and the writing to the action or the videotape. Among her more current exhibitions, it is necessary to point out «If You Lived Here...» (Day Art Foundation, New York, 1989); «In the place of Public» (Frankfurt Airport, 1998, in the airport and in the Museum für Moderne Kunst); «Martha Rosler» (Kunsthalle, Berlin, 1997); the retrospective one «Positions in the life world» (Ikon Gallery, Birmingham, 1998); «Generali Foundation» (Vienna, 1999; Museu d'Art Contemporani of Barcelona, 1999-2000).
